I live near Salt Lake City, Utah and I have lived here for most of my life. I graduated from Brigham Young University with my bachelor’s degree in Information Systems.
I worked at SEO.com for over two years. I started out on the Small Business Team working with small business owners from across the United States. After becoming an expert in small business SEO I transferred to the Web Development Team where I primarily built sites based on the Genesis Framework and WordPress CMS. I also gained experience optimizing an e-commerce site in Magento.
I left SEO.com in May 2014 and began Phil Sanders Design, LLC. Working for myself allows me to provide excellent service and competitively-priced websites to my clients. Because I’m a one-man shop I can afford to charge less than the larger agencies, thus stretching the marketing budget of the small businesses I work with. My local SEO knowledge enables me to build SEO-optimized websites as well as provide local SEO services.
There are thousands of programmers that can build you a site. Some of them may have some SEO experience. But with the SEO experience I gained while working for SEO.com, I will build you an SEO-friendly website and optimize it for your target market or industry.
